Second executive in four months stands down at Miller
Phil Miller, chief executive of Miller Developments, part of the Miller group, is stepping down at the end of May from the business and is not to be replaced.
Current joint managing directors, Andrew Sutherland and David Milloy, will take over the running of Miller Developments, a statement from Miller Group said.
Phil Miller joined Miller Developments in 1989 and was appointed chief executive in 2004. He is leaving to pursue other interests.
Back in February it was announced that the group’s long-standing chief executive, Keith Miller, was standing down with his responsibilities being passed onto the existing chief executives of the company’s three divisions, including Phil Miller.
Phil Miller said: “It has been a privilege to lead the Development’s team over the last two and a half decades. I am delighted to be handing over the business to the senior management team who have run the business with me for many years. I wish Andrew and David every success and I have no doubt they will seize the opportunities that lie ahead.”
One of Miller Developments’ largest schemes is the huge Arena Central mixed-use scheme in Birmingham (pictured).
