Former Pettifer Construction managing director will run Stradform and Weaver
Former Pettifer Construction managing director Chris Pape has joined Vinci to run two of its regional contracting operations, Building understands.
According to sources close to the situation, Pape will be managing director at Vinci subsidiaries Stradform and Weaver.
It is understood Pettifer commercial director Mark Savage will move with him.
A source said: “Given his background, Vinci is pretty pleased they landed him.”
Pape may play a key role in targeting further acquisitions for Vinci, which bought Taylor Woodrow Construction for £74m last September.
Pape joined Pettifer in October 2007 from Carillion, where he was managing director of its regional building division.
Warwickshire-based Pettifer went into administration in November after RBS pulled the plug on the £50m-turnover group.
