Housebuilder says integration of Westbury has helped boost completions by 38% to 16,700 homes
Persimmon has increased completions by 32% to 16,700 following the integration of Westbury Homes.
The housebuilder said that the enlarged group had performed ‘very well’ in 2006. Sales revenues increased 38% to £3.15bn for the year ended 31 December.
The group said that forward sales at the end of the year would be 22% higher at £700m, and that the total land bank now stood at 78,000.
Persimmon said it was well placed to grow its business further in 2007 and pinpointed Westbury’s affordable housing business, Westbury Partnerships and ex-Westbury land as opportunities for growth.
Persimmon’s 2006 results will be announced on Monday 26 February 2007.
