Two pedestrians taken to hospital with injuries after being hit by a site hoarding at Bellway Homes’ Pembury Circus site in east London
Two pedestrians have been injured by a falling site hoarding at a Bellway Homes development in east London.
The two people were hit by a falling advertising hoarding when walking past Bellway Home’s Pembury Circus site in Hackney on Wednesday afternoon.
Ambulance crews were called to the scene where they treated a man and a woman for leg, back, wrist and hand injuries before taking them to Homerton Hospital.
A spokeswoman for Bellway Homes said: “As a matter of priority, we are working with our principal contractor Ardmore Construction to investigate the incident. Our thoughts are with the injured parties, who we wish a speedy recovery.”
