Ecological Sciences will add £1.3m turnover to Parkwood’s new green waste business.
Support services firm Parkwood has acquired waste specialist Ecological Sciences in a deal worth £710,000.
Ecological Sciences specialises in processing and recycling organic waste. Parkwood said the acquisition would enable it to add a green waste recyling arm to its Glendale business, which currently manages parks and open spaces.
Parkwood said that Ecologicl Sciences would bring the total turnover of its new green waste business to £1.3m.
Ecological Sciences had net assets of £267,067 and profit before tax of £98,000 for the year ended 31 December 2003.
