Broadway Malyan is carrying out a feasibility study for the park that will straddle a dual carriageway in Blackwall.

Towlet Hamlets has appointed Broadway Malyan to undertake a feasibility study for a new park incorporating a pedestrian and cycle bridge crossing in East London.

The park will create new public green space on either side of the busy Aspen Way dual-carriageway in Blackwell and will link areas to the north of the road to the Thames riverside environment.

The gateway bridge is being seen as Tower Hamlets’ key Olympic project and is intended to mark the gateway to Canary Wharf for visitors from the East.

Broadway Malyan’s team includes art consultants Art2Architecture and engineers Buro Happold.
