Greenwich University selects Osborne to construct new campus
Osborne has been awarded a £43m contract by the University of Greenwich for pre-construction and construction of a new campus in south London.
A detailed planning application was submitted at the beginning of February, which provided for a new campus library, a school of architecture and construction – and other facilities such as TV studios and editing suites.
This will enable a greater degree of the university’s activities to be based in Greenwich, alongside its main campus in the Old Royal Naval College.
In 2009 Greenwich Village market closed to pave the way for the development.
Structural and civil consultant is Alan Baxter Associates, while QS and project management is being overseen by Fanshawe.
