Contractors will maintain and upgrade the London orbital motorway
Osborne and Jackon Civil Engineering have won civils deals worth up to £120m each to maintain and upgrade the M25.
The deals with M25 operator Connect Plus could run up to 12 years in duration and are worth around £10m a year to each contractor.
Planned works include concrete bay replacements, bridge deck waterproofing, expansion joint renewals, bearing replacements and repairs, bridge strengthening, structural steel corrosion protection and specialist tunnel repairs and improvements.
John Dowsett, managing director for infrastructure at Osborne, said: “This award is highly significant in our Highways business strategy as we continue to target opportunities with forward thinking customers who recognise the importance and value of a collaborative approach with their partners and suppliers.”
