An office development in New Zealand has won, by public vote, the People Choice Award 2003, organised by the RICS. The winning building, named C: Drive, was up against worldwide competition. The development was built for ASB Bank's technology and software operations. The design creates a cutting-edge office by exposing the building's structure and leaving what the RICS describes as "a visually transparent space". The project team included architect, landscape architect and interior designer JASMAX, structural engineer Jacob Consulting and services engineer Lincolne Scott New Zealand.
