More than £30m is expected to be invested in areas including Gravesend Town Centre, Dartford Marsh and the Northfleet Embankment. The money will fund mixed-use development plus infrastructure upgrades and green spaces.

The Partnership hopes to build around 5,000 homes and create around 7,000 jobs in the area.

Kent Thameside Waterfront is listed as one of the top 10 sites for housing in the Thames Gateway Delivery Plan. The strategic framework will set out how the extra homes will be delivered.
