The group finace director will succeed Joe Mathews in April 2011
Materials supplier Norcros has appointed its group finance director to succeed Joe Mathews as chief executive in April next year.
Norcross said Nick Kelsall would be made group chief executive designate from July 1, and would take over from the start of the next financial year. The firm said it would now start a search for a new finance director.
The move was announced as the firm reported preliminary profits up 4% to £7.3m on revenue of £169.6m.
John Brown, chairman of Norcros, said: “The board undertook a thorough process of evaluating both internal and external candidates, and we are delighted to announce Nickas the group chief executive-designate. The board congratulates him on this appointment.”
