NG Bailey bags £5.2m job for Solihull College

Solihull College has awarded NG Bailey a £5.2m contract to provide mechanical, electrical and ICT services at its Blossomfield Campus redevelopment.

The company will work together with main contractor Kier to complete the new campus by January 2011.

The redevelopment includes a large theatre as part of the new visual arts, media and performing arts block, as well as modern classrooms and workshops.

Chris Newton, acting chief executive of NG Bailey, said: “Our reputation for integrated building services and systems is strong and we are seeing solid growth in the education sector as a result.

"We are proud to have created many outstanding learning environments in the past and look forward to bringing the skills and expertise we have gained to Solihull College.”
