Belfast company Lagan Construction has won its first contract since the business was created from the merger of three civil engineering divisions of Lagan Holdings.
Lagan Construction has won a £14.2m Luton airport project to resurface the runway and upgrade the terminal in Bedfordshire.
The £120m-turnover company results from the merger of Charles Brand, Lagan International and Whitemountain Civils. It competes in the infrastructure, capital and maintenance markets. It has been included on several frameworks, including the £160m Scottish Water contract and the £120m Northern Ireland Water framework.
