Eleven contractors land places on three year framework agreement
Network Rail has announced 11 winning contractors on a framework covering maintenance for building and civils works.
The Building and Civils Delivery Partnership framework agreement spans a three year period and involves planned and reactive minor works across the network. Many of the programmed jobs are valued at below £1m.
The agreement also includes an option to extend the partnership for a further two years.
Amalgamated Construction landed a place on all three of the Network Rail maintenance regions. John Murphy & Sons, Birse and Carillion won work on two of the three regions.
The contractors will design improvements and carry out maintenance on structures such as tunnels, bridges and viaducts.
