‘Near’ zero-carbon house planned

Housebuilder Stewart Milne has signed a deal with Oxford Brookes University to carry out a full post-occupancy evaluation of its prototype “near” zero-carbon house.

A resident will live in the home, which was built at BRE’s innovation park near Watford, for a year while the university carries out an analysis of how well it performs compared with its design specification.
