This £12m courtyard development of the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge will be officially opened on Monday. It is the first stage in a long-term development programme. Designed by architect John Miller + Partners and supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, the southern courtyard has a new building and the adjacent accommodation has been replanned. It also includes a remodelled entrance, a new gallery and office space.
