Support services firm Mouchel Parkman has exchanged contracts to acquire consultant Hornagold & Hills for about £11m.
The move is one of three deals totalling almost £50m announced last week by Mouchel Parkman. The firm also announced the acquisitions of utilities specialist Ewan Group for £11m and highways technology provider Traffic Support, for £26m.
Richard Cuthbert, chief executive of Mouchel Parkman, said: “We are delighted to announced these three acquisitions, which complement our existing positions in highways, water and management consulting.”
Hornagold & Hills generated a pre-tax profit of £700,000 for the year ended 31 October 2005, on a turnover of £13.1m. Ewan reported a pre-tax profit of £940,000 and TSL £1.2m.
