Firm and university to combine consulting and research capabilities under new partnership agreement
Consultant Mott MacDonald has signed a partnership agreement with Cardiff University in a bid to promote its services.
The two organisations will combine their consulting and research capabilities on projects in sectors including health, sustainability, housing, transport and water.
They are already working together on a scheme to assess the environmental impact of a housing regeneration programme in Carmarthenshire.
Guy Leonard, group board director at Mott MacDonald, said: “Businesses and universities have a huge amount to learn from each other.
“Mott MacDonald stands to learn from Cardiff University's pioneering research, and the university aims to gain from the opportunity to exchange expertise with and obtain practical feedback from business professionals at Mott MacDonald.”
Derek Jones, Cardiff University's business and strategic partnerships director, added: “This agreement will enable Cardiff University and Mott MacDonald to share their extensive skills, knowledge and research capability in delivering management and engineering projects in all parts of the world.”
