Deal for sale of development aid firm to be completed this month
Mott MacDonald is to buy a subsidiary of global consultancy outfit Arcadis, it was announced today. The deal, for an undisclosed sum, will be closed at the end of this month.
Euroconsult, which has a turnover of approximately £25m and employs 125 people, specialises in donor-finance projects in developing countries. It has expertise in irrigation, water and rural land development aid needs.
"We believe that this step is good for Arcadis as it fits in our goal of having focus in our business," Arcdais director Michiel Jaski said.
Arcadis owns UK QS and project management outfit AYH and last year bought Berkeley Consulting.
