Thurrock council awards housing repair contract for over 10,000 properties worth £4m a year
Morrison has won a housing repairs contract worth a potential £80m.
Last week Thurrock council formalised the award of the contract, which involves repair and maintenance, including day-to-day and out of hours repairs to 10,350 properties in the Essex borough.
The contract will start in July 2010 and run for an initial term of five years, with a planned extension of up to 15 years. The deal is worth £4m a year.
