Galliford Try company is announced as preferred bidder on Schools Investment Programme by island’s council
Morrison has been selected as preferred bidder on Orkney Islands Council’s £57m Schools Investment Programme.
Galliford Try’s Scottish construction arm will build a new grammar school, art theatre and halls of residence in Kirkwall, a number of new sports facilities at the nearby Pickaquoy Centre, and a new primary school in Stromness.
The will be built over the next three years. Galliford Try facilities management will help maintain the buildings and grounds over the next 10 years.
