UK Power Networks awards contract to cover groundworks management
UK Power Networks has awarded Morrison Utility Services a contract by worth up to £750 million over 15 years.
The groundworks management contract will cover fault response, network enhancement and connection services for the electrical distribution network in the east of England.
UK Power Networks has also retained Morrison for building its grid and primary substations, worth up to £100million over five years.
Including contract extensions, Morrison has amassed a £3.5bn order book.
