Two framework streams comprise treatment works and installation projects
Morrison Construction, the infrastructure arm of Galliford Try, has won a joint venture deal with Aecom Design Build, for two streams of Yorkshire Water's AMP5 framework worth about £150m over five years.
The jobs comprise treatment works, involving capital projects on sewerage and water treatment plants, which is expected to be worth up to £100m and other installation projects, covering pumping station facilities, expected to be worth around £50m.
Greg Fitzgerald, chief executive of Galliford Try, said: “This appointment is another significant step in the renewal of our framework agreements with our key water clients and reinforces our position as one of the sector's leading contractors.”
