Appointed to the Framework in November 2014, the extension is worth up to a further £60m
Morgan Sindall’s Construction & Infrastructure division has been awarded a two-year extension to its three-year Framework Agreement with Western Power Distribution to deliver excavation, cable laying and reinstatement works in the West Midlands region.
The firm was originally appointed to the Framework, with an estimated annual value of around £30m, in November 2014. The extension, which is worth up to a further £60m, will run until October 2019.
Morgan Sindall said it would be delivering planned and reactive works on Western Power Distribution’s 11kV to 33kV distribution networks throughout the West Midlands region, which includes Stoke-on-Trent, Telford, Tipton, Birmingham, Hereford and Ludlow, Worcester and Gloucester.
John Morgan, Morgan Sindall’s chief executive, said the award “reflects the close and productive working relationships we have with Western Power Distribution, and the quality of the work we do.
“It also reflects the range of skills and capabilities we have in our Construction & Infrastructure division and its strong position for the future.”
