Project director on Terminal 2 job joins Morgan Sindall to head up its airports business
Morgan Sindall has poached a Balfour Beatty boss to become its director of airports.
Keith Cannin was an operations directors in Balfour Beatty’s aviation division, and was a project director on the firm’s Heathrow Terminal 2 programme.
In his new role at Morgan Sindall, Cannin will be based at Heathrow airport, where the firm was recently appointed as one of four contractors on the airport’s £1.5bn five-year investment programme.
He will report to Nick Fletcher, managing director of civil engineering at Morgan Sindall, and will be responsible for delivering all the firm’s airport work.
Cannin said he was “looking forward to the new challenge” of working at Morgan Sindall.
He added: “The UK’s airport infrastructure needs continued investment and upgrades to keep pace with demand and the reality of global competition. The Morgan Sindall airports team has a great track record for delivering high quality, complex projects around the country and we are well placed to support the sector.”
