Lovell to build 200 homes in North Yorkshire
Morgan Sindall’s affordable housing division, Lovell, has been awarded a £30m contract for a housing scheme in North Yorkshire.
The development involves the construction of over 200 homes and will be a mixture of open market, affordable rent and shared ownership.
The project is part of an overall £40m development which will include a significant expansion of the shopping centre in Skipton. Lovell will carry out the works on behalf of clients Maple Grove Developments and Craven District Council.
Paul Smith, chief executive of Morgan Sindall, said: “Lovell continues to make progress developing its market-leading position in the affordable housing arena with this latest deal, one of a number we have already secured this year.
“We look forward to working with Maple Grove and Craven District Council to deliver the development.”
