Morgan Sindall has appointed the former managing director of Bullock Construction as commercial director.
Andy Saul replaces Paul Whitmore as commercial director of Morgan Sindall Group. Whitmore left the company at the end of 2013 after working for Morgan Sindall for more than 14 years.
Saul will report directly to chief executive John Morgan.
He has been with Bullock for three years.
Whitmore’s was the latest in a number of senior departures from the contractor in recent months.
At the end of October, Building revealed that Morgan Sindall’s London boss Peter Jacobs was exiting and earlier that month that Steve Elliot, the boss of its £400m fit out business had left.
These followed a number of other senior management changes in the construction group over the previous 12 months including the departure of chief executive Paul Smith and finance director David Mulligan and executive chairman John Morgan re-taking the reins as chief executive.
But earlier this month the firm appointed pppointed Pat Boyle to a newly created managing director role in the firm’s construction business, which will see Boyle reporting directly to current Morgan Sindall construction and infrastructure managing director Graham Shennan.
Boyle will effectively serve as the division’s second in command, with Shennan remaining in his current role.
