Plans by Cesar Pelli & Associates and Alsop Architects to build the second tallest tower in Canary Wharf after One Canada Square have been approved by Tower Hamlets council.

The scheme comprises two office towers, one to the east of the North Quay site and one to the west – with a lower central building centred between. The west tower has 43 office floors and the east tower has 37. Alsop’s public square will link neighbourhoods to the north and south of the development. Planning permission was granted subject to section 106 agreements totalling £20m.
