Yorkshire-based firm will be run as a going concern by FRP Advisory
Off-site construction specialist Britspace has gone into administration, putting up to 200 jobs under threat.
Administrators FRP Advisory were appointed yesterday and will run the £42m-turnover Yorkshire-based firm as a going concern.
The company has been trading since 1972 and specialises in manufacturing modular buildings and bathroom pods.
David Thornhill, from FRP Advisory, told BBC News: “To protect the business, Britspace has entered administration; currently no redundancies have been made and it continues to trade as a going concern.
“We are working hard with Britspace’s management team to find a buyer for the business, and are hopeful it will attract a number of interested parties.”
