Four year contract is for projects below £12m in the East Midlands and Eastern England

The Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) has shortlisted 10 firms for a new framework for construction projects below £12m in the East.

The contract for the East Midlands and Eastern England region has been valued at between £100m-250m over the four-year period.

The shortlisted companies are:

  • Babcock Support Services
  • Henry Brothers (Magherafelt)
  • Interserve Project Services
  • Leadbitter Group
  • Lend Lease Construction (EMEA)
  • Mansell Construction Services
  • Morgan Sindall
  • Shepherd Construction Ltd
  • Skanska UK
  • VINCI Construction UKT

Jon Wooden, DIO’s Frameworks Project Manager, said: “The Strategic Defence and Security Review is driving changes to military basing.

“The Capital Works Frameworks, such as this one for the East Midlands and Eastern England, are likely to be instrumental in this as we work closely with industry to deliver the infrastructure our military personnel need to do their job.”
