Mitie wins £110m housing contract

Mitie has won a £110m repairs and improvements contract for 14,000 homes in East Anglia, London and the South-east.

The deal, for housing associations Orbit East & South, will be worth around £11m per year for 10 years, Mitie said.

It is due to begin in April 2011, and has an optional extension of five years after the first 10.
