Outsourcing specialist Mitie has reported a strong increase in turnover, taking profits to £93m for the year ended 31 March 2010

Turnover grew 13% to £1.72bn while the order book grew by 30.6% to £6.4bn, compared with £4.9bn in 2009. The firm said its facilities management division performed well and a major contribution came from Dalkia FM and EPS – acquisitions it made during the year.
