Outsourcing and energy services firm is preferred bidder for facilities and energy-management partnership
Mitie Group has announced that it has been appointed preferred bidder in a “transformational partnership” that will cover the Lloyds Banking Group’s entire UK branch and office estate.
The strategic outsourcing and energy-services company said the move was part of an on-going tender process to deliver integrated facilities and energy management.
The announcement comes after a period of mixed news for Mitie.
Earlier this year Edinburgh City Council decided not to proceed with a £170m property-management outsourcing deal with the firm.
However later in January the firm’s built-environment business subsequently won a £10.5m refurbishment contract for developer Derwent London.
