Mitie creates mobile facilities management division

Mitie has created a new division after merging its lighting and multi-site facilities management operations. The new division will be called National Mobile Services.
The combined business will employ more than 700 staff and will deliver mobile technical FM services nationwide.

The business will be one of the largest mobile property maintenance divisions in the UK, with Mitie’s central customer service centre controlling its operations.

Kerry Sheehan has been appointed director of the new unit, having previously undertaken senior management roles in Mitie’s South-west and lighting divisions.

Sheehan said: “Our clients will benefit from faster reaction times, enhanced service levels and better value for money.”
