Contractor will refurbish 500 homes for property group A2dominion

Mitie has won a four-year contract to refurbish 500 homes for property group A2dominion.

The £7m per annum contract involves works including asbestos removal, installation of energy efficiency measures, replacement of kitchens and bathrooms, rewiring, remedial works and replacing windows, doors and roofs.

Peter Griffin, director for social housing at MITIE, said: “We have an extremely good relationship with A2Dominion and are excited to be working with them again to support in the upgrading of their housing stock.”

Andrew Evans, executive director for operations at A2Dominon, said:  “We are pleased to have awarded this four year contract to MITIE, and look forward to strengthening our relationship as we work together to deliver quality repairs services for our residents.”
