The plan for a polo centre in Agadir, Morocco, has doubled in size and cost
The Prince’s Club is now worth €600m (£510m) and includes – in addition to five polo fields and stables for 300 horses – more than 800 residential units, a 25,000ft2 “retail village” of shops and restaurants and a shopping mall of more than £250,000ft2. Former SMC founder Stuart McColl’s practice Robinson McColl, launched in January, is designing the scheme for English developer James Bailey. The scheme went in for planning permission last week.
