Merger of two niche residential firms creates £6m pipeline

Niche building company Size Breed is to merge with Penn Contracting to create a business with 30 staff, targeting the high net worth residential market.

Size Breed, which was established in August 2009 by three directors from Holloway White Allom, has agreed a deal to combine with Penn in the next few weeks. The businesses turned over about £4m each as of the last financial year.

Barry Breed, director, said: “We both operate at the top end of the residential market and both have a highly skilled workforce.”

He confirmed the merged company would have a £6m pipeline for 2011.
