Vent-Axia has added the Sentinel Kinetic Plus to its range of residential mechanical ventilation with heat recovery systems
Designed for larger new-build properties and light commercial applications, the Sentinel Kinetic Plus supplies a maximum airflow of 400m3/h at 150Pa and is claimed to offer up to 92% heat recovery.
The unit is SAP Appendix Q eligible, helping to reduce the “domestic energy rating” of a new build property and delivering points under the Code for Sustainable Homes.
The whole house, multi-room ducted solution combines supply and extract ventilation in one unit. Warm, moist air is extracted from “wet” rooms through ducting and passed through the heat exchanger before being exhausted to the outside. Fresh incoming air is preheated via the integral heat exchanger. The unit has a specific fan power down to 0.49w/litres/s.
The unit is suitable for cupboard or loft installation and the exact ventilation rate can be set on the LCD display.
