Total Home Environment has launched the Genvex GES Energy heat recovery ventilation system which it says surpasses the best practice performance targets set by the Energy Saving Trust as part of Appendix Q in SAP calculations - which show compliance with Building Regulations.
The unit is designed to ventilate domestic properties up to 200m2. It is equipped with a counter-flow heat exchanger with a heat recovery rate of 91%, making it suitable for installations where low energy consumption and high temperature efficiency are required.
The unit also features a user-friendly controller from the designers of Bang & Olufsen. The LCD screen provides total control of the temperature, fan speed and operation throughout the day, using a ten-stage timer. The appliance monitors ingoing and outgoing air so when it’s hot and heat recovery is not required, the integrated summer bypass automatically closes, ensuring fresh comfort cooling of the home. An information screen will display all of the current operating temperatures.
