Lambeth council awards social housing repairs firm seven-year contract to start in October

Mears has won a £170m contract to provide repair and maintenance work on about 8,000 homes in south London.

The London Borough of Lambeth has awarded Mears the seven-year contract with a possible extension of three years, which would bring the total value up to £170m. The contract will start in October.

Mears now provides maintenance and repairs to 500,000 homes nationwide.
