Current chief executive officer Bob Holt will continue as chairman

Mears has appointed David Miles as its new chief executive officer.

Miles, 44, has been chief operating officer and a board member of Mears since January 2007.

The appointment takes place with immediate affect.

Miles replaces Bob Holt, who has led the business since the company was floated in 1996 and who will continue as chairman.

Holt said: “I know David’s impressive track record with clients, tenants and investors, his knowledge of our markets and his skills, strategic thinking and experience will be of ongoing benefit to Mears.”
