Stewart McColl, the chief executive of listed architect SMC Group, this week set out his global ambitions at a company conference.
After completing his expansion in the UK and Ireland, McColl has his sights set on Europe, the Far East and Australia. Turnover is expected to reach £58m in 2007 but he has ambitions to capture 3% of the global architecture market – equal to £2.5bn. The group’s projects include the redevelopment of Bradford Cathedral by SMC Alsop (pictured).
