Part of the firm’s stragey in the Middle East
Consultants McBains Cooper and EC Harris are to help the Jordanian government manage its public sector buildings.
Lead partner McBains Cooper will work with the World Bank-funded Jordanian Privatisation Commission, which aims to “rationalise” its property, as well as the management of up to 10,000 buildings.
The consultants will install a “property and facilities management information system” to help with the process.
Anthony Coumidis, director of McBains Cooper, said it was part of the firm’s growth strategy in the Middle East.
“It underpins McBains Cooper’s decision to develop an eastern Mediterranean and Middle East hub in Athens; our presence so close to Jordan was a big influencing factor in the decision of the Jordanian government.”
