Firm strengthens its building services and environmental teams
Consultant McBains Cooper has announced a number of new appointments in its building services engineering and environmental division, in a bid to strengthen its position as a provider of integrated design services.
Anthony Coumidis (pictured) will lead the environmental division. He has been a director with McBains Cooper since 2000 and the brainchild behind projects within the PFI/PPP and commercial sectors across the UK.
One of his main responsibilities will include adapting and implementing environmental strategies and sustainable solutions to the international market place, in particular Latin America where McBains Cooper has recently opened offices.
Rolfe Jackson has been appointed to head up the building services engineering division, based in London.
Jackson has 22 years of experience in the property and construction industry and is a registered low carbon consultant, having specialised in the design of low carbon buildings and has a practical approach to the design of the building environment.
He has also carried out extensive energy management works for both private and government agencies.
The firm is also adding M&E cost management to its specialist service portfolio. Clifton Bushe joins as senior M&E QS.
He will be responsible for costing sustainable initiatives and whole life-cycle costs in connection to sustainable solutions.
