Andrew Hunter moves into position left vacant by Alison Cox move
Sir Robert McAlpine has moved its technical director into the director of engineering role at the business to fill the spot left by Alison Cox who became its London boss last summer.
Andrew Hunter (pictured), who joined the business four years ago from Skanska, will also sit on McAlpine’s 10-strong executive leadership team which includes Cox and chief executive Paul Hamer.
McAlpine said: “During his time at SRM, Andrew has been a champion for the implementation of digital technologies and will continue to drive for improvements in productivity that ensure the business provides best value and innovative solutions to client.”
In its last set of results, McAlpine returned to the black last year racking up a £9.2m pre-tax profit from a £27m loss in 2020. Turnover was up 14% to £937m.
