Luxury developer submits £1bn scheme on former London barracks site for planning
Candy & Candy’s £1bn Chelsea Barracks scheme has been put in for planning.
The luxury developer commissioned Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners to masterplan the 12.8 acre development, and to design the residential units on Chelsea Bridge Road.
Allford Hall Monaghan Morris has also been named as designer of mixed-use blocks on neighbouring Ebury Bridge Road.
The former Chelsea Barracks site will include 319 luxury and 319 affordable housing units, a boutique hotel, shops and a sports centre.
It will also feature public and private gardens designed by landscape architect the Olin Partnership.
The scheme is being developed by Project Blue, a joint venture between the Candy brothers’ and Qatari Diar Real Estate
