A planning application has been submitted to restore Caxton Hall to its former glory. The former Westminster registry office (on the right of the photograph) was once famous for its celebrity weddings, but has been derelict since 1979. Foggo Associates is proposing to convert it into a residential development and add a nine-storey, 5000 m2 office drum alongside it. The architect is acting as engineer and cost consultant. The developer is Amberswift and Stanhope.
