Pat Stanborough retires as chief executive of building firm

Mark Lawrence has taken up the post of chief executive at T Clarke, taking over from Pat Stanborough, who is retiring. The handover occurred on 31 December.

Despite having retired from the board, Stanborough will continue to “support the business in an advisory capacity” for a further year, according to a company statement.

Russell Race, chairman of T Clarke, said: "The board would like to thank Pat for his many years of loyal service and his significant contribution to the success of T Clarke plc and wish him an enjoyable retirement."
