Martin Farrell moves over from building solutions division to head new unit at contractor

Croydon-based contractor Mansell has launched a new division to look after health service contracts across the Midlands.

The Stourbridge-based unit of the Balfour-owned firm will be headed by Martin Farrell, previously head of the firm's building solutions division.

In the last few years, Mansell has built large-scale primary and extra care facilities, hospital extensions and refurbishments.

Martin Farrell said: “The new health division offers excellence in customer satisfaction, which is reflected in the high proportion of repeat business opportunities and the ability to deliver national targets without compromising local needs.”

Mansell was one of the 112 firms that received a statement of objection from the Office of Fair Trading about bidding irregularities back in April.

The firm won Building's award for major contractor. Some 92% of the UK firm's business comes from repeat clients.
