Four-storey development designed by Formroom will house club shop, museum and hospitality suites
Everton FC has won planning permission for this £9m four-storey mixed-use development next door to Goodison Park stadium.
The new building, designed by Manchseter-based architect Formroom, will feature a 900m2 shop, museum, café, offices and matchday corporate hospitality.
The scheme at the Park End section of the ground will be built in time for the 2011/2012 season.
The architect praised Everton for its commitment to design. Formroom managing director Tim Groom said: “It has been fantastic to work on a project that allowed us not only to be so creative, but also to work with a client who is so passionate about high quality design and achieving an end result that everyone associated with Everton Football Club can be proud of.”
